Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Dealer Sales professional to drive dealer network expansion, sales growth, and dealer relationship management across the South Zone. The candidate will be responsible for appointing new dealers, managing existing dealer accounts, achieving sales targets, ensuring merchandising standards, and providing strong backend and operational support. The role requires frequent travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to build long-term business relationships.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Network Expansion & Dealer Management
- Appoint new dealers in assigned territories in line with company sales strategy and market potential.
- Execute dealer visits as per the approved beat plan and visit schedule to ensure consistent market coverage.
- Evaluate dealer performance, strengthen relationships, and identify business expansion opportunities during market visits.
- Ensure adherence to ViaTerra merchandising standards, including product visibility, shelf space allocation, and in-store branding.
- Train and educate dealers and retail sales staff on product features, benefits, and product positioning strategies.
Sales Growth & Operations
- Collect and process dealer orders efficiently while driving higher order values through upselling and cross-selling.
- Achieve assigned sales targets by increasing dealer engagement and implementing growth-focused sales initiatives.
- Coordinate backend sales operations including order processing, dispatch follow-ups, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor market movement and support dealers in improving product movement and retail sales.
Dealer Service & Support
- Provide timely support and service to dealers by resolving queries and operational issues effectively.
- Build strong long-term relationships with dealers through regular communication and proactive support.
- Collect dealer feedback related to products, merchandising, and service support for continuous improvement.
- Ensure smooth coordination between dealers and internal departments for efficient business operations.
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Submit dealer visit reports and beat-plan compliance reports regularly.
- Analyze sales performance, monitor trends, and track achievement against targets.
- Provide actionable market insights and competitor feedback to management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across multiple states in the South Zone.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in dealer/B2B sales with a proven sales track record.
- Experience in handling dealer networks and managing key business accounts.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and dealer management strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate business insights.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
Industry Preference
- Experience in automotive accessories, riding gear, lifestyle products, FMCG, or related dealer-driven industries will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
