About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Candidates with full-stack exposure and experience working in a product-based company will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Full Stack Engineer with exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Next.js, or similar).
- Prior experience working in a product-based company.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
