Summary:
- The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and optimizing customer journeys, working with event-based and segment-based triggers, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless activation across digital channels.
- A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and user experience.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem, especially Real-Time CDP, segments, and schema/XDM constructs, along with a keen eye for journey orchestration best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement multi-step, personalized journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Collaborate with AEP specialists to ensure correct data ingestion, identity stitching, and profile activation
- Integrate AJO journeys with channels like Email, Push, SMS, and In-App Messaging using Adobe or third-party connectors
- Create and manage journey versions, test logic paths, and perform QA/UAT of journey outcomes
- Optimize journeys using performance insights and business KPIs
- Work with stakeholders to translate marketing and business goals into Automated journeys
- Support integration with Offer Decisioning, where applicable
- Maintain journey documentation, technical flowcharts, and user guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, content, development) to ensure end-to-end delivery
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in digital marketing / marketing automation
- Strong understanding of AEP schemas, datasets, audiences, and RTCP
- Experience working with event-triggered and segment-triggered journeys
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of Offer Decisioning, Adobe Campaign Standard is an added advantage
- Experience with channel integration (Email/SMS/Push) and testing tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience in agile/scrum projects is preferred
- Experience with user interface design and user experience principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs.
Additional Information:
- Adobe AJO certification or AEP Business Practitioner certification
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
