The Asset Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the effective management, control, cleanliness, and lifecycle of all hotel housekeeping assets. This includes linen, uniforms, guest supplies, cleaning equipment, and housekeeping machinery. The role ensures optimal asset utilization, cost control, hygiene standards, and compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities : Asset Management & Control
- Manage and maintain inventory of housekeeping assets including linens, uniforms, equipment, and guest supplies
- Ensure proper tagging, tracking, and documentation of assets
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification
- Monitor asset usage, loss, damage, and replacement cycles
Linen & Uniform Management
- Oversee linen and uniform issuance, collection, washing, and storage
- Coordinate with in-house laundry or external vendors
- Maintain par levels as per occupancy and hotel standards
- Ensure hygiene, quality, and presentation standards are met
Equipment & Store Management
- Ensure housekeeping equipment is clean, functional, and well-maintained
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with engineering
- Maintain housekeeping stores in an organized and safe manner
Cost Control & Procurement Support
- Monitor consumption trends and control wastage
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and procurement planning
- Liaise with purchasing for timely replenishment of assets
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise asset housekeeping supervisors, linen room attendants, and storekeepers
- Train staff on asset handling, storage, and loss-prevention procedures
- Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and hygiene standards
- Prepare MIS reports on asset utilization, loss, and inventory levels
- Support internal and external audits
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel assets
- Inventory management and cost-control skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Leadership and team-management skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Working knowledge of PMS / inventory systems and MS Excel
Pay: ₹9,878.95 - ₹20,000.00 per month
