We are looking for a passionate and motivated ROS 2 Developer Trainee to join our Robotics team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and students who are eager to build a career in robotics, autonomous systems, and embedded software development.
As a trainee, you will work on real-world robotics projects using ROS 2, Linux, C++, Python, and various robotic sensors and controllers under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Responsibilities
- Learn and develop applications using ROS 2.
- Write software in C++ and Python for robotic systems.
- Integrate sensors, cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and motor controllers.
- Develop and test robotic nodes, topics, services, and actions.
- Work with Ubuntu/Linux development environments.
- Debug and optimize robotics applications.
- Collaborate with the embedded systems and AI teams.
- Document project progress and technical findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or pursuing B.Tech/B.E., BCA, B.Sc., MCA, M.Tech, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of C++ or Python.
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu is an advantage.
- Interest in robotics, automation, autonomous systems, and embedded programming.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of ROS or ROS 2.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Exposure to Raspberry Pi, Jetson, Arduino, or STM32 is a plus.
- Understanding of computer vision or AI is an added advantage.
