The Accounts Officer will be based at the Head Office and will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts operations while coordinating financial processes across multiple shopping mall locations. The role requires accuracy, timely reporting, and strong coordination with on-site mall finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts for head office and consolidate entries from mall locations.Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and payment vouchers before processing.Ensure timely recording of rental income, CAM charges, and other mall-related transactions.
2. Mall Coordination
Act as the primary finance liaison between Head Office and shopping malls at different locations.Collect, review, and consolidate monthly financial data, statements, and reconciliations from each mall.Provide guidance to mall-level accounts staff on accounting standards, formats, and deadlines.
3. Payments & Collections
Process vendor and utility payments for head office and oversee mall-level payments.Monitor receivables, follow up on pending rentals, and ensure timely collections across malls.Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, reconciliation, and documentation.
4. Compliance & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for management review.Ensure TDS, GST, and other statutory compliances are correctly calculated and filed for all locations.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation from HO and malls.
5. Process Improvement
Identify gaps in mall-level accounting processes and standardize them across locations.Assist in implementing accounting software/process updates across all sites.
Required Qualifications & Experience
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.
2–5 years of experience in accounts, preferably in retail, real estate, or mall management.
Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar accounting software.
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic corporate taxation.

Work Arrangement: Based at Head Office with regular coordination calls/meetings with mall finance teams. Occasional travel to mall locations may be required for audits or process setup.
