In support of our global organization, we have a new opening for TOC specialist. The primary objective of this role will be to delivering world-class operations support for the globally shared enterprise infrastructure services both on-premises and cloud hosted. The engineer will participate in projects activities, fulfill requests for service through a ticket management system, and use advanced skills to troubleshoot problems with the overall service. Additional responsibilities include participating in the On-Call rotation and learning new skills to support various internal and cyber initiatives. This individual also performs research to troubleshoot and resolve the issue or, depending upon complexity, escalates the issue to higher-level systems administrators and other SME teams. The TOC specialist is responsible for researching and documenting various mitigation strategies and must maintain a current and thorough knowledge of customer technologies and their significance to customer operations.
Work you'll do
As an Infrastructure Specialist Engineer II on the Technology Operations Center team, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and troubleshooting Windows server issues, including server outages, system hangs, disk space constraints, and CPU or memory utilization alerts in a 24x7 operations environment
- Administering core Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), directory synchronization, RADIUS, Network Policy Server (NPS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Group Policy Objects (GPO), and Windows Server platforms
- Supporting enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, including VMware, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Windows Failover Clusters, and cloud services in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Using ticketing, monitoring, and automation tools to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, execute scripts, and improve operational efficiency through PowerShell and other automation tools
- Driving major incident resolution, engaging Level 2, Level 3, and subject matter specialist teams as needed, maintaining knowledge base articles, and supporting continuous service improvement initiatives

These outcomes equate to maximized service availability and reliability. Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
- 6+ years of experience in Windows server administration, infrastructure operations, or technology operations support in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Group Policy Objects (GPO), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), RADIUS, Network Policy Server (NPS), and directory synchronization
- Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, application servers, and distributed network environments
- Experience using infrastructure monitoring and incident management tools to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Experience supporting virtualization and cloud platforms, including VMware, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Windows Failover Clusters, and one or more of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ability to work in a 24x7 operations environment and participate in an on-call rotation
Preferred:
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or comparable certification in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, or cloud technologies
- Experience with web technologies, including Internet Information Services (IIS), SharePoint, or Apache
- Experience with monitoring tools such as System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Dynatrace, Splunk, Nagios, Moogsoft, New Relic, or Operations Management Suite (OMS)
- Experience conducting process analysis and documenting process improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting SQL Server or Oracle database environments
