Khabar Mirror is looking for an SEO Executive Intern who is passionate about Google Search, website growth, rankings, and technical website optimisation. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience working on a real digital news platform and understands how SEO directly impacts traffic and visibility.
The selected candidate will work closely on improving our website performance, fixing indexing issues, optimising published articles, and helping increase our visibility on Google Search and Google News.

Responsibilities:
- Perform On-Page SEO for published news articles
- Work on Technical SEO improvements across the website
- Monitor Google Search Console regularly
- Submit newly published articles to Google Search Console for indexing
- Identify and help fix indexing or crawling issues
- Work on Off-Page SEO and backlink building strategies
- Research and execute guest posting opportunities
- Improve website visibility on Google Search and Google News
- Optimize headlines, meta titles, descriptions, slugs, and internal linking
- Monitor website SEO health and report issues
- Coordinate with the content team for SEO improvements
- Help improve website authority and organic traffic growth
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
- Knowledge of Google Search Console is preferred
- Understanding of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO
- Basic knowledge of backlinks and guest posting
- Good research and problem-solving skills
- Interest in news/media websites and digital publishing
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Familiarity with WordPress is a plus
