Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC lathe/milling machines for precision component manufacturing. The role involves ensuring production output meets drawing and quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe/milling machines as per job drawings and work instructions.
- Load programs, select tools and set appropriate machining parameters.
- Perform in-process inspections using Vernier, micrometer and height gauge.
- Monitor machine performance and report deviations or breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain production records and daily output logs.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with supervisors on tooling changes and job priorities.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die Making or a related trade.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC lathe or VMC machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens control systems preferred.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
