A Placement Officer at a Deemed-to-be University bridges academia and industry. They spearhead corporate relations, secure multi-disciplinary employment pipelines, manage rigorous skill-building programmes, and systematically track complex institutional placement data across multiple distinct faculties.
Core Responsibilities
· Corporate Relations: Forge strong institutional partnerships with Tier-1 companies, multinational corporations, and start-ups to guarantee year-round campus recruitment drives.
· Skill Development: Coordinate target training workshops encompassing soft skills, technical preparation, resume building, and simulated mock interviews.
· Internships & Placement Logistics: Oversee the administrative architecture of summer internships and final placements, including student scheduling, tracking pre-placement offers (PPOs), and allocating facilities.
· Data Management: Maintain accurate institutional databases of student profiles, track comprehensive progress, and produce metric-driven analytical performance reports for senior university management.
· Alumni Networking: Collaborate closely with the alumni association to leverage graduate networks for mentoring and expanding employment leads.
Job Requirements
· Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of corporate recruitment or career services experience within a high-tier educational ecosystem.
· Skills: Advanced talent acquisition strategies, database management systems, expert negotiating, and articulate communication.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
