Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven content writer with hands-on experience in e-commerce marketplaces (preferably Amazon). The ideal candidate understands keyword research, product positioning, customer psychology, and marketplace compliance.
This is not a blog-writing role — this is a conversion-driven listing optimization role.
Core Responsibilities:
1️. Amazon Listing Optimization
- Write SEO-optimized titles, bullet points, and product descriptions
- Structure content using problem → solution → benefit framework
- Incorporate high-volume keywords naturally
- Optimize for CTR and CVR
2️. Keyword Research & Strategy
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Data Dive, etc.
- Identify primary, secondary, and long-tail keywords
- Analyze competitors and extract keyword gaps
- Categorize keywords by intent (informational, buying, branded, etc.)
3️. Conversion-Focused Copywriting
- Craft emotionally engaging bullet points
- Write persuasive A+ Content copy
- Develop infographic text for images
- Create short, high-impact one-liners that pass the 2-second test
4️. Marketplace Compliance
- Understand Amazon content policies
- Avoid restricted claims
- Ensure category compliance
- Write compliant supplement, pet, or regulated category content (if applicable)
5️. Research & Product Positioning
- Study competitors’ listings
- Identify differentiation angles
- Highlight USPs clearly
- Translate technical specs into benefits
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce content writing
- Hands-on experience writing Amazon listings
- Strong understanding of keyword research tools
- Knowledge of Amazon SEO fundamentals
- Ability to write persuasive, conversion-driven copy
- Understanding of customer psychology
- Excellent English writing skills
Preferred:
- Experience with supplements, pet products, home goods, or consumer products
- Experience writing A+ Content
- Familiarity with Seller Central
- Basic understanding of PPC (to align keywords with campaigns)
