About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin and Java, along with the ability to build, maintain, and enhance Android applications with high performance and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android mobile applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party libraries/services.
- Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store (if required).
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with REST API integration and JSON parsing.
- Knowledge of SQLite / Room Database.
- Familiarity with MVVM / MVC / MVP architecture patterns.
- Understanding of Git / version control systems.
- Experience with Firebase (Push Notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics) is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines.
