Currently we are hiring the candidate for the position of QA Engineer for our Organization. Our Organization is a leading toy manufacturing company located at Kadi near Ahmedabad.
Position: QA Engineer
Department: Tool Room
Reports to: Production Head
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Location: Kadi, Ahmedabad
Work Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ( Monday to Saturday)
Salary: Take home 28000-30000 / CTC - 30000-35000
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and ensure quality of injection moulded plastic parts.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Handle measurement instruments like Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Micrometer, etc.
- Monitor product dimensions, appearance, fitment, and functionality.
- Identify quality defects such as shrinkage, flow marks, flash, sink marks, warpage, and color variation.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production and tool room teams for quality improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Handle customer complaints and support in quality audits.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs. Knowledge of basic quality tools like 7 QC Tools, Kaizen, and 5 Why analysis.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of injection moulding parts and processes.
- Understanding of drawings and GD&T.
- Experience in plastic component inspection.
- Basic knowledge of ISO quality standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical, Plastic Engineering, or relevant field.
