Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Housekeeping Lecturer to train and guide students in hotel housekeeping operations. The lecturer will be responsible for classroom teaching, practical training, demonstrations, lesson planning, student assessment, and preparing students for careers in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures on Housekeeping Operations and Management.
- Teach topics such as:
- Introduction to Housekeeping
- Cleaning Equipment and Chemicals
- Cleaning Procedures
- Guest Room Cleaning
- Bed Making
- Public Area Cleaning
- Laundry and Linen Management
- Housekeeping Control Desk
- Pest Control
- Safety and Hygiene
- Interior Decoration
- Flower Arrangement
- Budgeting and Inventory Control
- Hotel Room Maintenance
- Conduct practical classes and demonstrations for students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and practical activities.
- Evaluate students through tests, assignments, practical examinations, and presentations.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and student performance reports.
- Provide career guidance and industry-oriented training to students.
- Coordinate housekeeping practical labs and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
- Maintain discipline and professional standards during practical sessions.
- Organize industry visits, guest lectures, workshops, and training activities.
- Keep teaching content updated according to current hotel industry practices.
- Support students during internships and industrial training.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management.
- Relevant teaching or hotel industry experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Practical knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures.

Experience

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
