Job Purpose:
To supervise and manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring smooth operations, achievement of production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and effective utilization of manpower and resources.
Key Responsibilities:Production Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules.
- Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and other departments for smooth production flow.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
Manpower Management
- Allocate manpower effectively based on production requirements.
- Supervise operators and ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train and guide team members on processes, safety, and productivity improvement.
- Maintain discipline and positive work culture within the production team.
Quality & Process Control
- Ensure products are manufactured as per defined quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality team for process compliance and corrective actions.
- Identify process deviations and implement preventive measures.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and process losses.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Promote safe working practices and conduct regular safety awareness among employees.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE and safe handling of equipment/materials.
Productivity & Continuous Improvement
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives and reduce downtime.
- Monitor key production metrics (output, rejection, efficiency, downtime).
- Support Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and other operational documents.
- Prepare daily production reports and communicate performance updates.
- Escalate production issues to management for timely resolution.

Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in production operations (manufacturing industry preferred).
- Experience in handling shop floor operations and manpower management.
Pay: ₹10,312.45 - ₹34,106.51 per month
