Job Summary:
The Production Supervisior is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily production activities in the manufacturing unit. This includes ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge of the production process.
ssKey Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets with minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with various departments (Procurement, Quality, Maintenance) to ensure a smooth production flow.
2. Process Optimization & Efficiency:
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Monitor and reduce wastage, defects, and downtime.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
3. Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions for defects.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Workforce Management:
- Supervise and lead the production team, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
- Train and motivate workers to achieve production goals.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing safety procedures.
5. Inventory & Material Management:
- Monitor raw material consumption and ensure timely replenishment.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams for smooth inventory management.
6. Equipment & Machine Maintenance:
- Ensure proper functioning of machines and equipment.
- Report any breakdowns or malfunctions to the maintenance team for quick resolution.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to avoid unexpected failures.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Maintain records of production activities, worker performance, and machine downtime.
- Provide insights and suggestions for continuous improvement.
Qualification: Diploma/BE Mechanical
Experience: 3 to 8 years
Location: Kubadthal, Ahmedabad
salary : 25000 to 40000 Per Month
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
