About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the Lighthouse Kiran Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the program, ensuring smooth execution, and contributing to the overall success of the initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation:
- Work closely with the Program Lead on the program's larger vision and mission, its planning and execution.
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities of the Lighthouse Kiran Program in Pune and PCMC.
- Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure objectives are met efficiently.
- Contribute to enhancing the program framework in light of the feedback received from the field.
- Lighthouse Kiran session facilitation as and when necessary.
- Impact evaluation of the program.
- Donor compliances and reporting.
Team Management
- Manage a team of Facilitator & Mobiliser in respective regions and ensure yearly plan delivery.
- Ensure regular team meetings for cross sharing and resolving issues of concern.
- Ensure that all team members are able to contribute effectively and also get fair opportunities to represent the organization.
- Regular Facilitator De-Briefs and Check-Ins with Mobilisers
Community Engagement:
- Work closely with the outreach team to engage with communities and identify potential participants.
- Facilitate awareness campaigns and promotional events to mobilize the beneficiaries.
Collaborations:
- Assisting in partnerships with organizations.
- Foster collaborations to enhance the impact and reach of the program.
Performance Metrics:
- Regularly track and report on program performance against established targets
Event Management:
- Executing events related to the Lighthouse Kiran Program, including teacher/other workshops, seminars, refresher batches and community engagement programs.
- Organize planning meetings, workshops, conferences, and project visits for internal or external groups, as required.
- Undertake any other tasks, as may be assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree preferably in the relevant field – Social sciences/ Development studies/Gender/Social Work degree in any field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 to 7 years in program coordination, community engagement, or related roles.
- Strong and proven records of planning, supervising, program development and program monitoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, parents, administrators, and community members
- Good knowledge and understanding of education issues, including life skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Have a strong work ethic and require minimal direction.
- Work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Ready for travel across the city, outskirts of the city and other locations in Pune and PCMC.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
