Job Title: Branch Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Ludhiana
Experience Required: Minimum 6 Years
Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager/Operation Manager to lead and manage our Freight Forwarding operations at the Ludhiana branch. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics, team management, customer handling, and business development within the freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the branch including import and export shipments.
- Handle freight forwarding operations such as air freight, sea freight, documentation, and customs coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, shipping lines, transporters, and vendors.
- Monitor branch sales performance and business development activities.
- Ensure timely execution of shipments and maintain service quality standards.
- Supervise and guide the operations and documentation team.
- Maintain proper MIS reports, billing, and profitability of the branch.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry.
- Having G Card is preferred.
- Prior experience in branch handling or team leadership is preferred.
- Good knowledge of import/export documentation, shipping processes, and logistics operations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage clients and generate new business opportunities.
