Short Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Rigger to handle lifting, shifting, loading, unloading, and rigging activities in industrial and project sites. Candidates must have experience in rigging operations and height work activities. Rigger course completion certificate is mandatory.
Detailed Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging activities for lifting and shifting heavy equipment and materials.
- Inspect lifting tools, slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, and rigging equipment before use.
- Support crane operations and ensure safe lifting practices.
- Handle loading, unloading, positioning, and alignment of materials/equipment.
- Follow lifting plans, hand signals, and safety procedures during operations.
- Carry out height work activities safely using proper PPE.
- Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety compliance at the work site.
- Report damaged lifting tools and unsafe conditions immediately.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of rigging tools, lifting equipment, and safety procedures.
- Experience in industrial/project site rigging operations.
- Ability to understand lifting signals and work instructions.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices.
- Physically fit for field and height work activities.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma / Any Relevant Qualification
- Rigger Course Completion Certificate – Mandatory
- 2–4 years of relevant rigging experience
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
- Safety-oriented and disciplined candidate.
- Ability to work in shifts and outdoor environments.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
