JOB TITLE: Technical Architect – Cloudinary
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration
o Integrate Cloudinary’s media management API into web and mobile applications.
o Collaborate with both front-end and back-end developers for seamless workflow implementation.
2. Media Management
o Set up and oversee media libraries within Cloudinary.
o Implement robust mechanisms for image and video uploading, transformation, optimisation, and delivery.
o Ensure best practices for organising and retrieving media assets.
3. Optimisation
o Optimise images and videos for size, quality, and loading speed using Cloudinary’s transformation capabilities.
o Analyse media performance metrics and recommend improvements for enhanced user experience.
4. Support and Troubleshooting
o Provide expert support for media-related issues and troubleshoot integration problems.
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for Cloudinary usage, including guidelines and best practices.
5. Collaboration
o Work closely with UX/UI designers to maximise the impact of media in applications.
o Collaborate with content teams to automate content delivery and updates.
6. Stay Updated
o Keep abreast of the latest Cloudinary features, enhancements, and trends in media management and optimisation.
Skill Requirements
- Technical Architecture exposure with minimum 10+ years’ experience
- Strong command of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Proven experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations.
- Understanding of image and video formats, along with compression techniques.
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
