We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced U.S. Tax Preparer to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing Individual (Form 1040), Corporate (Form 1120), S-Corporation (Form 1120S), and Partnership (Form 1065) tax returns. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing accurate tax returns, maintaining workpapers, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations

Prepare and review U.S. Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) and related schedules (A, B, C, D, E, F, SE, 8812, 8949, etc.).

Prepare Business Tax Returns including Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065.

Analyze client source documents including W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, brokerage statements, financial statements, and payroll reports.

Prepare depreciation schedules and fixed asset reconciliations.

Perform book-to-tax adjustments and reconcile financial statements to tax returns.

Prepare workpapers supporting income, deductions, credits, and tax positions.

Assist with foreign reporting requirements including Forms 5471, 5472, 8938, 8621, 8858, 8865, 1116, 2555, and FBAR reporting.

Prepare multi-state tax returns and state apportionment calculations.

Review diagnostics, identify missing information, and prepare client information requests.

Research tax issues and apply federal and state tax regulations.

Coordinate with reviewers, managers, and CPA firms to resolve tax questions.

Ensure timely completion of tax engagements while maintaining quality standards.

Support e-filing, extensions, estimated tax calculations, and amended returns.

Maintain organized and well-documented workpapers in accordance with firm Process standards.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation.

Strong knowledge of Individual and Business Taxation.

Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.

Working knowledge of depreciation, basis calculations, K-1 reporting, and book-to-tax adjustments.

Experience with tax software such as Drake, ProConnect, Lacerte, Pro-Series, UltraTax, or CCH ProSystem fx.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with U.S. CPA firms.

Knowledge of international tax reporting and foreign disclosures.

Familiarity with Form 5471, Form 5472, and other international reporting forms.

Understanding of tax research tools and IRS regulations.
