Job Summary
The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and monitoring day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves coordination with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of civil works.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision
- Supervise all civil construction activities at the site.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Monitor daily site progress and prepare progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
- Ensure availability of materials, machinery, and manpower at site.
Planning & Coordination
- Review project drawings and technical specifications before execution.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and project managers.
- Prepare work schedules and monitor project timelines.
- Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to workers and contractors.
Quality Control
- Check quality of materials received at site.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and maintain quality checklists.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective action is taken.
Measurement & Billing
- Take site measurements and maintain measurement records.
- Verify contractor bills and quantities executed.
- Prepare bar bending schedules, material reconciliation, and work completion reports.
- Maintain records for daily progress, labor attendance, and material consumption.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately.
- Conduct regular safety checks at site.
Documentation
- Maintain all site-related documents, drawings, permits, and reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain site registers and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in civil construction or site execution.
- Freshers may be considered for junior roles.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and time-management ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and safety requirements.
- Experience in contractor handling and site management.

- Timely completion of assigned work.
- Quality compliance and minimum rework.
- Adherence to project timelines and budget.
- Proper maintenance of site records and reports.

Working Conditions
- Work is primarily based at the project site.
- May require extended hours, weekend work, or travel depending on project requirements.
- Use of safety gear and site PPE is mandatory.

Pay: ₹10,773.12 - ₹32,844.79 per month
