Job Summary
DMR LANDZ is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting & Audit Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, documentation, and internal audit activities.
The candidate will work closely with management to maintain accurate financial records and support financial reporting and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and expense entries.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash books and bank books.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and auditors.
- Prepare documents and schedules required for statutory and internal audits.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve errors.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist in budgeting, expense tracking and financial analysis.
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
- Support management with financial data and reports whenever required.
Audit Responsibilities
- Review financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Check invoices, receipts, vouchers and ledger entries.
- Identify discrepancies, errors or unusual transactions.
- Assist in internal audit and statutory audit processes.
- Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required information.
- Follow up on audit observations and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / accounting software.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Basic understanding of income tax and statutory compliance.
- Good reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance candidates can also apply.
Preferred Experience
1–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit or real-estate accounting.
Candidates with experience in real-estate accounts, property transactions, project accounts or construction accounts will be preferred.
