Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Contractor with 6–7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, and dashboard development.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos, SQL, data modeling, and executive dashboard development, along with experience or exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
This role will focus on transforming complex enterprise datasets into actionable insights and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and Cognos.
- Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and business performance reports for leadership teams.
- Partner with ITAM, Finance, Procurement, SAM, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Develop data models, visualizations, and reporting frameworks supporting ITAM and software compliance initiatives.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Automate recurring reports and improve dashboard performance.
- Translate business requirements into analytical models and meaningful visualizations.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and strategic data initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6–7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Advanced hands-on experience with:
- Tableau
- Microsoft Power BI
- IBM Cognos Analytics
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience developing executive and leadership dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling.
- Experience with data modeling, KPI development, and performance metrics.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Familiarity with ITAM/SAM platforms such as:
- Flexera One
- ServiceNow
- Tanium
- Lansweeper
- Snow Software
- Similar IT asset management platforms
- Understanding of software licensing and compliance reporting.
- Experience with technology spend analysis.
- Knowledge of software and hardware inventory management.
- Experience with cloud reporting across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Python or R experience for advanced analytics and data manipulation.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
