Job Responsibilities
- Generate leads by identifying potential farmers, dairy farms, livestock owners, FPOs, cooperatives, and other relevant customers.
- Conduct field visits to rural and farming communities and understand customers’ requirements, livestock numbers, waste availability, energy needs, and farm conditions.
- Educate farmers about Sistema.bio biodigesters, biogas, organic fertilizer/bioslurry, cost savings, and environmental benefits.
- Conduct product demonstrations, farmer meetings, awareness camps, and local promotional activities to create demand and generate qualified leads.
- Explain the complete solution, including biodigester size, installation, financing options, warranty, accessories, and post-sales service.
- Convert leads into customers through regular follow-ups, need-based selling, negotiation, and closing.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.
- Develop relationships with farmers and local influencers, including FPOs, dairy cooperatives, NGOs, farmer organizations, and other rural networks.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and regularly update lead status, customer information, follow-ups, quotations, and sales reports.
- Coordinate with technical and installation teams after the sale to ensure smooth delivery, installation, commissioning, and customer training.
- Support after-sales engagement by maintaining regular contact with customers and coordinating service requirements with the technical team.
- Collect customer feedback and share field-level insights with the sales/management team to improve products, services, and sales strategy.
- Monitor market and competitor activities and identify new opportunities for expanding Sistema bio's presence in the assigned territory.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory, particularly to rural and farming areas, as the role is strongly field-oriented. Sistema.bio notes that more than 60% of its employees work directly in the field with farmers
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
