About the Role
TNZ Cinemas is looking for an experienced and results-driven Cinema Manager to lead the overall operations of our Tezpur cinema. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, maximizing revenue, and leading the cinema team efficiently. Candidates must have hands-on experience with film scheduling and Vista Cinema Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cinema, including box office, concessions, ushering, housekeeping, and security.
- Prepare and manage film scheduling to optimize screen utilization and business performance.
- Operate and manage the cinema using Vista Cinema Operations, including show setup, ticketing, reporting, and operational functions.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the cinema team.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Monitor ticket sales, concession sales, and overall business performance to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the cinema.
- Manage cash handling, inventory, stock control, and daily operational reports.
- Coordinate with film distributors, vendors, technical teams, and the head office.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Plan and support local marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cinema operations, with prior experience as a Cinema Manager or Assistant Manager preferred.
- Mandatory experience in film scheduling and Vista Cinema Operations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in cash management, inventory control, and operational reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
