1. Regional Origination & Sourcing
- Establish and nurture active relationships with Stressed Assets Management Branches (SAMBs), Zonal Offices, and recovery divisions of public/private banks and major NBFCs across Hyderabad, Bangalore, and regional hubs.
- Track local bank auction notices, bilateral pool sales, and Swiss Challenge opportunities across Southern regional markets.
- Conduct initial screening of loan portfolios, teasers, and Information Memorandums (IMs) to evaluate underlying collateral, promoter background, and asset viability.
2. Deal Evaluation, Due Diligence & Financial Modelling
- Lead physical and document due diligence for new deal acquisitions, including site visits, property inspections, and visiting bank branches to review confidential loan documents, security creation files, and legal titles.
- Build recovery cash-flow models, discounted cash flow (DCF) scenarios, and hair-cut estimates for target portfolios.
- Oversee regional legal, technical, and valuation vendors during physical due diligence of underlying real estate and industrial assets.
- Prepare comprehensive Investment Committee (IC) memos and transaction structure proposals (Cash vs. Security Receipt combinations).
3. Execution, Onboarding & Resolution Support
- Lead data room analysis, coordinate documentation (NDAs, Assignment Agreements), and manage binding bid submissions.
- Ensure smooth hand-off of acquired debt portfolios to the local Asset Resolution and Operations teams for enforcement under SARFAESI/IBC.
- Provide active, ongoing support to the resolution team for resolving region-wise assets, including borrower negotiations, OTS (One Time Settlement) structuring, collateral liquidations, and litigation monitoring.
4. Business Development & Market Intelligence
- Maintain a live tracker of regional NPA inventory, real estate distress trends, and competitor ARC bidding patterns in Telangana, AP, and Karnataka.
- Support pitch preparation for co-investors, local real estate resolution partners, and Special Situation Funds looking at regional exposures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- MBA in Finance / CA / CFA or equivalent post-graduate degree in finance.
- 7 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in Banking, NBFCs, ARCs, Special Situation Debt, or Stressed Asset Advisory.
- Deep familiarity with the South Indian financial ecosystem and corporate borrower landscape. Fluency in English along with local working knowledge (Telugu / Kannada) is an advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong practical knowledge of the SARFAESI Act, IBC 2016, DRT processes, and RBI directives on loan transfer.
- Hands-on proficiency in credit analysis, real estate valuation principles, and financial cash-flow modeling.
- Strong network across local bank recovery officers, resolution professionals (RPs), and legal advisers in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
- High autonomy and mobility to manage regional travel for site visits and bank meetings.
Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
