Job Description – Staff Nurse
Position Title: Staff Nurse
Department: Nursing Services
Reports To: Nursing Superintendent / Ward In-charge

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
- Monitor patient condition including vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Assist in diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and relatives.
Clinical Duties
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and nursing notes.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Follow hospital policies, protocols, and standard treatment guidelines.
- Participate in emergency care and resuscitation procedures.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing from recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Experience
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in hospital clinical setting preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations.
- Teamwork and coordination ability.
- Basic computer knowledge.
