A Plant Accountant manages the financial operations of a manufacturing facility, focusing on cost accounting, inventory control, and monthly closing. They analyze production costs (labor, material, overhead), maintain inventory accuracy, and support budgeting to drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with corporate financial standards.
- Cost Accounting & Reporting: Develop and maintain standard cost systems, analyze actual vs. standard costs, and prepare daily/monthly production cost reports.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory reconciliation, manage cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Month-End Close: Lead or support monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the plant's operational costs.
- Operational Analysis: Analyze variances and report on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
