,We are looking for a senior Python engineer to build, configure, and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that connect AI agents to enterprise systems. The primary responsibility is to evaluate community MCP servers, adapt them for enterprise use, and deploy them either on AWS Lambda or on a VM/EC2-based environment. This role is centered on FastMCP, MCP server implementation, and clean deployment packaging for production use.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain MCP servers in Python using FastMCP and the MCP Streamable HTTP transport.
- Review, checkout, and adapt community MCP servers for internal use.
- Deploy MCP servers on AWS Lambda or on VM/EC2 infrastructure.
- Wrap enterprise APIs and databases into MCP tools with business-friendly descriptions
- Orchestrate backend API and expose as tools on MCP server.
- Implement authentication and credential handling using OAuth2, API keys, and service principals.
- Register MCP servers in AgentCore Gateway and support end-to-end testing.
- Write tests, troubleshoot failures, and document tool behavior clearly.
Required qualifications
- Senior-level Python development experience.
- Strong understanding of MCP concepts and server architecture.
- Hands-on experience with FastMCP.
- Experience deploying Python services on Lambda and/or VM-based infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of OAuth2 and OIDC.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and enterprise data sources.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and S3.
Preferred qualifications
- AWS cloud experience.
- Experience with integration using APIs
- Experience with EC2, PM2, Mangum, and Function URLs.
- Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, Windchill, Planisware, or Databricks.
Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
