Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment Support
- Work with doctors, especially podiatrists and orthopedic specialists
- Measure and analyze patients’ feet for deformities or medical conditions
- Custom Footwear & Orthotics
- Design and fabricate custom footwear, insoles, and orthotic devices
- Modify existing footwear to improve comfort and mobility
- Medical Condition Management
- Provide footwear solutions for conditions like:
- Diabetes Mellitus (diabetic foot care)
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Flat Feet
- Arthritis, bunions, and post-surgical recovery
- Fitting & Adjustments
- Ensure proper fitting of orthopedic shoes and inserts
- Make adjustments based on patient feedback and clinical advice
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, orthotists, and doctors
- Follow prescriptions and rehabilitation plans
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Repair medical footwear and orthotic devices
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained
- Documentation
- Maintain patient records, measurements, and treatment details
Skills Required
- Understanding of foot anatomy and biomechanics
- Knowledge of orthopedic and therapeutic footwear
- Precision in measurement and fitting
- Basic medical awareness and patient handling skills
- Attention to hygiene and safety protocols
- Communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff
Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
