Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms to examine heart chambers, valves, and vessels
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring accurate imaging and proper functionality
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure comfort and safety
- Record and analyze diagnostic data to assist physicians in interpreting results
- Conduct specialized tests, including stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress tests, bubble studies, and treadmill stress tests
- Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting malfunctions or defects promptly
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
- Follow safety and infection control protocols in clinical settings
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography, cardiovascular technology, or a related field
- Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification preferred; CPR certification required
- Technical skills: Proficiency in echocardiography, cardiac ultrasound, EKGs, and stress testing
- Interpersonal skills: Strong communication, patient care, and empathy to ensure patient comfort
- Attention to detail: Ability to capture high-quality images and accurately document findings
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
