Job Description – Hospital Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Hospital Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of IPD & OPD services, patient admissions and discharges, billing coordination, patient counselling, and overall patient satisfaction.

Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA (Hospital Administration) / MHA will be an added advantage.
- 3–7 years of experience in hospital operations or healthcare administration.
- Immediate Joining Preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of IPD and OPD services.
- Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
- Coordinate with Doctors, Nursing, Physiotherapists, Reception, Billing, Pharmacy, and Housekeeping departments.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience throughout the hospital.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding hospital services, treatment plans, billing, and discharge procedures.
- Handle patient complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the billing team to ensure accurate billing and timely discharge.
- Monitor bed occupancy and daily hospital operations.
- Ensure proper patient documentation and compliance with hospital policies and SOPs.
- Prepare daily operational reports and communicate updates to management.
- Support quality initiatives, patient safety standards, and continuous process improvement.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Hospital Operations, Patient Relations, Front Office, or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience in Rehabilitation Hospitals or Multi-specialty Hospitals will be preferred.
