Job Description
HNN 24X7, a National News Channel with over 11 years of experience in the Indian media industry, is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing Manager to strengthen the channel's brand presence, marketing initiatives, advertising business and corporate partnerships.
The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships with advertisers and agencies, securing sponsorships, promoting HNN 24X7's programs and events, and expanding the channel's overall market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to strengthen the HNN 24X7 brand.
- Generate new business opportunities through advertising, sponsorships, brand partnerships and promotional campaigns.
- Identify and approach potential corporate clients, brands, advertising agencies, PR agencies and institutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare and present marketing proposals, sponsorship proposals, media kits and commercial presentations.
- Pitch advertising and sponsorship opportunities available across television, digital and OTT platforms.
- Develop sponsorship and marketing opportunities for special programs, events, campaigns, conferences and award functions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute client campaigns and promotional activities effectively.
- Explore opportunities for branded content, special programming, event partnerships and media partnerships.
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective clients and convert leads into business.
- Achieve assigned marketing, sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain records of leads, client meetings, proposals, conversions and business development activities.
- Represent HNN 24X7 professionally in client meetings, industry events and business networking opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Marketing, Media Sales, Advertising, Business Development or a related field.
- Experience in a TV News Channel, Media House, Digital Media Company, Advertising Agency or Broadcasting Industry will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the media, advertising and sponsorship industry.
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into business.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and networking skills.
- Ability to independently approach and manage corporate clients and agencies.
- Strong relationship-building and client-management skills.
- Ability to prepare professional proposals and commercial presentations.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Target-oriented, confident and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced media environment.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Management, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing/Business Development will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate should be confident, well-connected, commercially driven and target-oriented, with the ability to independently develop new business and build long-term relationships with brands, corporates, advertising agencies and institutions.
Candidates with an existing network in the media, advertising, corporate or government/institutional sector will be preferred.
