About the Role
A Multi-Speciality Hospital in Kadi Town (Gujarat) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Superintendent to lead and oversee the nursing services of the hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing operations, clinical compliance, staff management, and quality initiatives across all departments.
This position requires strong leadership skills, hospital administration experience, and the ability to manage nursing teams effectively in a multi-speciality healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations across all hospital departments.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and nursing services.
- Supervise Nursing Supervisors, Ward In-Charges, and Staff Nurses.
- Plan and manage nursing manpower, duty rosters, and workforce allocation.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
- Conduct nursing audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital management.
- Identify training needs and organize nursing education programs.
- Monitor patient safety indicators and nursing performance metrics.
- Handle patient and attendant concerns related to nursing services.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of nursing records.
Eligibility Criteria/Education
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- M.Sc. Nursing preferred
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years of hospital nursing experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Nursing Superintendent, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be preferred.
