Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager / Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, cost control, and material planning. The role requires close coordination with internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials and services while maintaining quality standards, policy compliance, and budget discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Purchase Requirement Planning
Analyze material and service requirements based on project schedules, operational plans, and consumption trends to ensure uninterrupted supply.
2) Vendor Identification & Development
Identify dependable vendors, evaluate quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and build long-term supplier relationships for consistent sourcing.
3) Purchase Order Processing
Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing, delivery timelines, and approval compliance.
4) Price Comparison & Cost Control
Conduct comparative statement analysis, negotiate pricing, and support management in achieving cost-effective procurement decisions.
5) Material Availability & Delivery Tracking
Track order status, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials to stores or project sites.
6) Coordination with Stores & Project Teams
Coordinate with stores and site teams to align procurement schedules with inventory levels and project execution requirements.
7) Contract & Rate Agreement Management
Maintain rate contracts, service agreements, and approved vendor records to ensure consistency and commercial compliance.
8) Compliance & Record Maintenance
Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and audit requirements, and maintain complete, organized purchase documentation.
Required Skills:
· Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor negotiation, and purchase documentation
· Ability to analyze quotations and make cost-effective purchasing decisions
· Effective coordination skills with stores, accounts, projects, and vendors
· Working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase tracking formats
· Strong follow-up discipline to ensure timely material availability
· Professional communication skills in English and Hindi
· High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
Experience Required:
- Purchase Officer: 3 to 5 Years
- Purchase Manager: 6 to 8 Years
Salary Range:
₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience & interview)
Education (Preferred): B.Com / BBA / MBA (Supply Chain / Operations) / Any Graduate with relevant purchase experience
Strong preference for candidates with good English and Hindi communication skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
