We are seeking an experienced Lead AI & Data Platform Engineer to join an innovative e-commerce and social marketplace platform built for the Middle East. The platform combines livestream shopping, real-time auctions, and social engagement into a highly automated, data-driven ecosystem.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building the data and automation engine that powers growth, product recommendations, advanced personalization, and AI-driven experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and manage scalable data warehouses using ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar OLAP databases.
- Design and maintain robust data pipelines and event tracking systems across web and mobile applications.
- Build audience activation pipelines from data warehouses to marketing platforms such as Meta CAPI, Google Ads, Braze, Customer.io, and WhatsApp API.
- Develop lifecycle automation solutions including cart abandonment journeys, personalized notifications, and livestream reminders.
- Design and implement recommendation systems and personalization algorithms.
- Deploy and manage production-ready AI solutions, including LLM workflows, RAG systems, and AI agents for operational use cases.
- Ensure data quality, scalability, performance, and cost optimization across the platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and translate technical solutions into measurable business outcomes.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Architecture.
- Strong production-grade experience with Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Data Warehouses and OLAP technologies such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Experience with Event Tracking and Identity Resolution tools such as Segment, RudderStack, or PostHog.
- Experience with Marketing Automation and Reverse ETL platforms including Braze, Customer.io, Hightouch, or Census.
- Practical experience implementing LLMs, RAG systems, and AI integrations in production environments.
- Strong understanding of scalable data architectures and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in E-commerce, Consumer Applications, or Marketplace platforms.
- Experience with Recommendation Engines and Personalization Systems.
- Experience with Vector Databases and Semantic Search.
- Experience working with real-time media or streaming technologies such as LiveKit or WebRTC.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
