We are seeking a senior technical and people person who combines strong technical acumen with proven leadership skills to drive delivery across complex product areas. The role involves owning multi-track roadmaps, guiding teams through large-scale projects, enabling innovation, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. The Senior Engineering Manager will mentor and grow team members, act as an advocate for customer needs, and collaborate with
product leaders and senior management to achieve strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated engineering team delivering on a multi-track roadmap for a product area
- Own planning, scheduling, and execution of medium-to-large scope projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery against KRAs and milestones.
- Define, delegate, and track project-level work; provide visibility of progress and risks to senior management.
- Collaborate with product managers on technical feasibility, estimation, and solution design.
- Ensure delivery quality, scalability, and alignment with business requirements and customer needs.
- Drive process improvements in software development, deployment, and cross-team collaboration.
- Manage budgets, resources, and recruitment to build and scale high-performing teams
- Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus across engineering groups.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience with at-least 3+ years in leadership managing multiple teams or complex, high-impact projects.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong technical foundation in programming paradigms, concepts, and at least one programming language.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, processes, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Track record of successful delivery both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey big-picture goals, align teams, and manage client/stakeholder relationships.
- Skilled at prioritization, conflict resolution, and making trade-offs in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree will be good to have.
