We are seeking a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in English teacher who is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons to students, assessing their progress, and providing feedback for classes 6th to 10th . He/She also contribute to the overall learning environment by fostering student well-being, collaborating with colleagues, and participating in professional development activities.
Job Responsiblities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive English language and literature lessons for secondary school students.
- Create lesson plans that engage and inspire students, catering to their diverse learning needs.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement and growth.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the curriculum.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Continually update subject knowledge and teaching strategies through professional development.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or a related field.
- TGT English
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent teaching certification.
- Preferably 2 yrs of experience in teaching English at the secondary school level.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing students' academic growth.
