We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Quality Manager to lead our quality systems and ensure that every employee consistently follows our company’s quality policy.
The primary mission of this role is to train, coach, and develop staff so that their knowledge, behaviour, and daily practices fully align with our hygiene, food safety, and product quality standards.
A key responsibility of this role is also to prepare, coordinate, and successfully execute client audits, ensuring our facility meets or exceeds customer expectations at all times.
Key Responsibilities 1. Staff Training & Behavioural Alignment (Primary Responsibility)
- Train production, packing, hygiene, and QC teams on all quality standards and food safety protocols
- Ensure all staff understand and follow the company’s quality policy, hygiene rules, and behavioural expectations
- Conduct regular training sessions on GMP, GHP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and product handling
- Monitor staff behaviour on the shop floor and correct deviations immediately
- Develop training materials, SOPs, visual guides, and checklists
- Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs for continuous improvement
2. Client Audit Preparation & Execution (Critical Responsibility)
- Prepare the facility, documentation, and teams for client audits (hospitality groups, retail chains, institutional buyers, etc.)
- Conduct pre‑audit internal assessments to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, procurement, and HR to ensure full audit readiness
- Present quality systems, processes, and compliance records to client auditors
- Ensure smooth execution of audits and address auditor queries professionally
- Implement post‑audit corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and maintain follow‑up documentation
3. Quality Assurance & Food Safety Management
- Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, GHP, and FSSAI compliance systems
- Conduct daily inspections of production areas, equipment, raw materials, and finished goods
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards
- Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits (FSSAI, client audits, certification bodies)
- Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and compliance reports
4. Process Control & Product Quality
- Establish and enforce quality standards for dough, lamination, baking, cooling, packing, and storage
- Work closely with production managers to ensure process consistency and reduce wastage
- Approve raw materials and coordinate with procurement for supplier evaluation
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf‑life studies when required
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bakery, food manufacturing, or FMCG quality management
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
- Proven experience in staff training and behavioural development
- Experience in client audit preparation and execution
- Excellent observation skills and ability to identify defects or behavioural deviations
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- High level of discipline, integrity, and responsibility
Preferred Skills
- Experience with laminated products (croissants, puffs), breads, and confectionery
- Ability to design training modules and SOPs
- Familiarity with bakery equipment and production flow
- Strong problem‑solving and team‑coaching abilities
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
