Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our fitness team as a Gym Personal Trainer. As a key member of our gym staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personalized training and guidance to our members, helping them achieve their fitness goals and leading them on a path to a healthier lifestyle. This role offers a fixed base salary in the range of 20,000 to 25,000 per month, along with the opportunity to earn additional income through personal training percentages with each client.
Responsibilities:
Personal Training Sessions: Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with gym members, tailoring workouts to suit their individual needs, fitness levels, and goals.
Goal Setting and Progress Tracking: Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable fitness goals. Monitor and track their progress regularly, providing motivation and support throughout their fitness journey.
Exercise Programs: Design and develop customized workout programs based on clients' objectives, preferences, and physical condition, incorporating a variety of exercises and training techniques.
Technique Instruction: Ensure clients perform exercises with proper form and technique to prevent injuries and optimize results.
Nutritional Guidance: Offer basic nutritional advice to clients to complement their workout routines and improve overall health.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all members, building strong relationships to retain and attract clients to personal training sessions.
Sales and Marketing: Promote personal training services within the gym and actively seek opportunities to attract new clients through marketing initiatives or referrals.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, research, and industry certifications to continually improve and enhance your skills as a personal trainer.
Requirements:
Certification: Possess a nationally recognized personal training certification from an accredited organization, such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent.
Fitness Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, physiology, and nutrition, with the ability to apply this knowledge to create effective training programs.
Experience: Previous experience in personal training or a related fitness field is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills to establish a positive rapport with clients and encourage them to achieve their fitness goals.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules.
Physical Fitness: Maintain a high level of personal fitness and lead by example in living a healthy lifestyle.
Sales Acumen: Basic sales skills to promote personal training services and attract new clients to your sessions.
