The Role
We're not looking for someone who simply writes captions.
We're looking for someone who can listen, observe, connect dots and uncover stories. Someone who can take conversations with founders, customer insights, cultural moments and everyday observations and weave them into narratives that feel authentic and memorable.
If you're naturally curious about people, communities, culture, food, brands and what makes people belong, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Write content across social media, websites, campaigns, newsletters and brand communication.
- Understand and maintain each brand's unique voice, personality and tonality.
- Work closely with strategists and designers to develop ideas and campaigns.
- Conduct research, interviews and conversations to uncover stories worth telling.
- Turn founder journeys, customer experiences, cultural insights and brand values into engaging content.
- Build narrative arcs and content themes that evolve over time rather than creating isolated posts.
- Contribute to community-led initiatives, campaigns and brand-building exercises.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of English.
- A natural storyteller with the ability to find meaning in everyday moments.
- Strong understanding of brand identity, voice and tonality.
- Ability to stitch together people, perspectives, experiences and insights into cohesive narratives.
- Genuine interest in culture, communities, food, hospitality, art and human behaviour.
- Strong research and listening skills.
- Someone who is observant, curious, empathetic, and culturally aware.
- Ability to adapt writing styles across diverse brands and audiences.
Bonus Points If You
- Have worked with community-led, founder-led or culture-driven brands.
- Have experience conducting interviews and converting conversations into content.
- Think beyond engagement metrics and understand how content creates participation and belonging.
- Can move comfortably between short-form social content and long-form storytelling.
