Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quadient Workflow Engineer with strong expertise in Quadient Inspire, Customer Communications Management (CCM), and Azure Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade document generation and workflow automation solutions using Quadient Inspire while integrating with BlueCrest print and mail systems, Azure cloud services, and enterprise applications.
The role requires hands-on experience in document composition, workflow automation, Azure integration, event-driven architectures, and high-volume batch processing. The successful candidate will collaborate with architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant customer communication solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuadient Inspire Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Quadient Inspire applications using:
- Inspire Designer
- Inspire Scaler
- Inspire Interactive
- Inspire Automation
- Develop document templates, workflows, and reusable components for enterprise communications.
- Design dynamic document composition solutions supporting personalized customer communications.
- Implement document formatting, composition, bundling, and output generation.
- Support end-to-end document lifecycle including generation, approval, archival, and distribution.
Workflow Automation
- Build and optimize document workflow automation processes.
- Configure automated document routing, approvals, and delivery mechanisms.
- Develop scalable workflows supporting:
- Print
- Email
- Digital delivery
- Archive
- Optimize high-volume batch document generation and near real-time communication workflows.
- Implement workflow scheduling and automation using Quadient Automation.
Azure Cloud Integration
Design and implement integrations using Azure services including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Blob Storage
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Grid
- Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred)
- Azure Databricks (preferred)
Develop scalable cloud-native data integration pipelines and workflow orchestration.
BlueCrest Integration
- Integrate Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail solutions.
- Support enterprise print production environments.
- Configure print queues, output routing, batching, and mail processing workflows.
- Troubleshoot print production issues and optimize output performance.
Data Integration & APIs
- Design and develop RESTful API integrations.
- Work with SOAP services where required.
- Build file-based integrations using:
- XML
- JSON
- CSV
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for customer communication data.
- Perform data transformation, validation, and mapping across enterprise systems.
- Integrate Quadient workflows with enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, and customer databases.
Event-Driven Architecture
- Build event-driven workflow solutions using:
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Grid
- Design asynchronous communication between enterprise systems.
- Implement workflow orchestration using messaging and event-based patterns.
Performance & Optimization
- Optimize document generation performance.
- Improve workflow execution for high-volume batch processing.
- Tune document rendering and output performance.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Ensure scalability for enterprise production workloads.
Monitoring & Support
- Implement:

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Quadient Inspire development and Customer Communications Management (CCM).
- Hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire Designer, Scaler, Interactive, and Automation.
- Strong experience integrating Quadient Inspire with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail solutions.
- Experience designing enterprise document composition and workflow automation solutions.
- Strong Azure Cloud experience, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
- Experience building REST API integrations and enterprise data pipelines.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with high-volume batch processing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure Data Engineer).
- Quadient Inspire Certification.
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Databricks.
- Experience with enterprise CRM/ERP integrations.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of document compliance, regulatory standards, and archival processes.
