Roles & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
targets.
- Identify new business opportunities across retail outlets, supermarkets, modern
trade, Horeca (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering), and institutional sales.
- Expand the dealer network and ensure effective coverage across assigned territories
in Madurai.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify gaps, understand customer needs, and
enhance product availability.
Channel & Distributor Management
- Appoint, develop, and manage Dealers, Direct Outlets for effective market
penetration.
- Ensure maintain adequate stock, timely billing, and smooth logistics operations with
in the designated market.
- Monitor dealers performance, ROI, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives/Field Officers to achieve sales
objectives.
- Conduct regular team reviews, set clear performance KPIs, and track achievements.
- Coordinate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product
availability and timely delivery.
Market & Customer Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and modern trade buyers.
- Drive product placements, in-store promotions, sampling, and other trade marketing
activities.
- Gather customer feedback, resolve complaints, and improve customer satisfaction.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Track sales performance across all regions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to recommend
corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed MIS reports and present sales forecasts, achievements, and gaps to
management.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any degree
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in RTC, Dairy, Frozen Foods, or FMCG (Ready-to-Cook
or similar product categories).
- Proven experience in dealer handling, market development, and sales growth
achievement.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution models – General Trade, Modern Trade, and
Institutional Sales.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
