Curriculum Planning & Implementation
Develop and coordinate the annual academic plan in consultation with the Principal and Section Coordinators.
Ensure effective implementation of the prescribed CBSE/NCERT curriculum across all grades.
Prepare curriculum maps, yearly plans, term-wise plans and subject-wise academic planners.
Identify opportunities for interdisciplinary and experiential learning.
Coordinate enrichment activities and curriculum-related events.
Facilitate the implementation of competency-based teaching and learning.
Ensure lesson planning is linked to clearly defined learning outcomes.
Encourage inquiry-based, experiential, project-based and activity-based learning.
Promote critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration and problem-solving.
Ensure assessments are aligned with CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
Guide teachers in preparing competency-based question papers and assessment tasks.
Promote higher-order thinking, application, analysis and evaluation in assessments.
Review question papers for quality, syllabus coverage, difficulty level, competency alignment and appropriate distribution of marks.
Coordinate periodic tests, term examinations, projects, portfolios, subject enrichment and other internal assessments.
Monitor assessment records and timely completion of result-related processes.
Analyse assessment data to identify learning gaps and areas requiring intervention.
Promote assessment for learning and as learning, rather than assessment merely for marks.
Plan and coordinate in-house academic training/workshops.
Share CBSE/NCERT academic updates and resources.
Ensure smooth transition of curriculum expectations from one grade to the next.
Support the Principal in academic planning.
Prepare academic reports for principal review.
Encourage integration of sports, performing arts, STEM/STEAM, technology, vocational exposure and life skills wherever appropriate.
Qualification & Required Skills
Postgraduate degree in Science/Humanities.
B.Ed. or equivalent professional qualification.
Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and school academic processes.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a CBSE school.
Knowledge of NEP 2020 and competency-based education.
Experience in assessment design and academic data analysis.
CBSE training/workshop experience.
Good proficiency in educational technology and digital academic tools.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
