Key duties and responsibilities
- Outbound and inbound calls: Make outbound calls to prospective and existing clients to promote steel products and services, and handle incoming calls to answer questions and address concerns.
- Lead generation and sales: Identify and qualify new leads, explain product features and benefits, persuade customers to purchase, and work to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Customer relationship management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Information management: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and update CRM systems with contact information, notes, and sales progress.
- Customer support: Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Product knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate details to customers.
- Collaboration: Work with sales and support teams to improve customer experience and close leads.
- Adherence to policies: Follow company scripts, policies, and procedures during all telecalling activities.
