Position: MEP Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to manage and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at construction project sites. The candidate will be responsible for execution, coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of all MEP-related activities as per project standards and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute all MEP activities at project sites.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, BOQ, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, civil teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Ensure installation works are completed as per approved drawings, standards, and timelines.
- Monitor execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and utility systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project tracking.
- Plan and monitor material requirements and ensure timely site availability.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards and project guidelines.
- Handle testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP works at site.
- Verify subcontractor measurements, bills, and executed quantities.
- Maintain proper project documentation, inspection reports, and execution records.
- Ensure completion of MEP activities within project timelines.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material approvals and vendor support.
- Attend client meetings, site review meetings, and coordination discussions as required.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in construction or project execution.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD layouts.
- Good understanding of site execution and coordination processes.
- Strong problem-solving and team coordination skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality practices in construction projects.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple site activities efficiently.
