An IVF Medical Officer (MO) acts as a crucial bridge between patients and senior consultants, managing daily patient care, documenting histories/treatments, explaining procedures, and handling emergencies within an IVF center; they take patient histories, explain treatment plans (like IUI/IVF), provide pre/post-procedure advice, manage documentation (prescriptions, scans), and coordinate with embryologists and nurses, ensuring smooth clinical flow and high patient satisfaction, often for BAMS/BHMS/MBBS doctors. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Consultation & Care: Conduct initial consultations, take detailed medical histories, explain IVF processes, and address patient queries about treatment, medications, and reports.
- Documentation & Data Entry: Accurately record patient info, vitals, treatments, and generate prescriptions/discharge summaries as directed by senior doctors.
- Clinical Support: Assist consultants in OPDs, monitor patients, handle minor emergencies, and coordinate workflow between nursing, lab, and embryology teams.
- Patient Education: Educate couples on treatment flows, available options, and pre-procedure instructions.
- Liaison: Act as a coordinator between patients, families, consultants, and admin staff.
