Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to handle end-to-end purchasing for our high-voltage, solar, and electrical substation projects. You will be responsible for sourcing utility-grade equipment, negotiating with specialized vendors, and ensuring materials reach active sites on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement: Source and purchase materials based on BOQs and SLDs (e.g., power transformers, PV modules, string inverters, HT/LT cables, and line hardware).
- Vendor Negotiation: Identify approved OEMs, negotiate pricing, and finalize favorable payment and delivery terms.
- Quality Coordination: Work with engineering to ensure procured items pass necessary compliance and testing requirements (such as FAT for transformers).
- Logistics & Tracking: Manage supply chains for long-lead items and coordinate freight to ensure safe, timely delivery to remote project sites.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of purchasing experience in EPC, utility-scale solar, transmission lines, or substation construction.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of high-voltage electrical equipment and commercial terms (freight, taxes, insurance).
- Software: Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management software
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
