Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Asset & Configuration Coordinator – ITAM (Hardware Asset Management) – L3 to oversee the complete lifecycle of IT hardware assets and ensure accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), ITIL processes, asset governance, inventory management, vendor coordination, and compliance. This role requires close collaboration with IT Operations, Procurement, Finance, Security, and Service Desk teams to maintain asset accuracy, optimize hardware utilization, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, including procurement, receipt, deployment, tracking, maintenance, transfer, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory records and ensure data integrity within the Asset Management system and CMDB.
- Perform asset reconciliation between physical inventory, procurement records, and asset management tools.
- Coordinate asset allocation, relocation, retrieval, and retirement activities across multiple locations.
- Conduct periodic physical asset audits and inventory verification.
- Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies, standards, and audit requirements.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate warranty tracking, repairs, replacements, and hardware renewals.
- Track hardware asset utilization and recommend optimization or refresh strategies.
- Support ITSM processes, including Incident, Change, Request, Release, and Configuration Management.
- Manage asset tagging, barcode management, and documentation.
- Prepare hardware asset reports, dashboards, and management MIS.
- Support internal and external audits related to IT assets.
- Coordinate secure disposal of end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) hardware in accordance with organizational and regulatory policies.
- Drive continuous improvements in Hardware Asset Management processes and governance.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
